We wanted to post our initial plans for 2011’s costs and a schedule that will show you when you can register and take advantage of discounts. The fees for entry and camping are as follows:
Adult Campers: $150 each
Children Under 12 are Free Nannies, Registered, are Free
Awesome 4-12 Year Old Childcare AM and Afternoon, includes snacks: $25
Camping (4 nights): $40
Pop Up Camper: $80
RV Camping: $120
We strongly encourage any family with small children (under 12), but especially those with toddlers under 4 years of age to bring a nanny. Nannies are free in every way. This is our way of saying, “We want adults to enjoy adult time, and we want babies to get lots of attention and care…all at the same time!” We don’t provide any structured care for children under 4, and children under 12 are not allowed to attend some of the group meeting times.
The discount schedule will roll out something like this:
February: Key Leaders and Musicians can register at a unique unpublished discount for one month only. March: Special invitation for close family, donors, Worship Circle Friends network, and network of relationships at special unpublished discounts for one month only. April: Early bird public registration begins for 10% off of everything for one month only. May-June 11th: Public full price registration only. June 11: Registration closes at midnight.
Oh, so exciting. By the way, we have opened up another camping area all-together to expand our camping grounds for 2011 and we have added new opportunities to bring your drums and guitars and jam with us in evening worship!

Registration is closed. For those of you who are coming this year we are sooooo excited! Wow, are we going to have a great time. Did you know that you alone will experience the debut performances of songs from our latest album (Chair and Microphone, Vol. 4) performed by the featured artist?!
Our featured artist Tim Coons will be there to perform and debut several songs from the album! The album will sell for a special Worship@8500 price of only $10 for the weekend, but will not release in public or on the net until later in July.

Great news! Caleb Freisen, the 8-armed drummer hailing from Winnipeg, Canada will be returning to unleash himself on us for the weekend. Caleb is half of the award winning power-folk duo Jacob and Lily!
You are invited to join us at the Worship@8500 campgrounds on Saturday night or Sunday night for our evening of worship! Gates will open at 6:30pm and the concert will begin at 7pm and run until 10pm each of those nights. All worship event guests must leave the grounds by 11pm each night after the bonfire. Sorry, Friday night is not open to the public.
Admission: $10 per person at the gate. Cash, Credit or Check.
Only the first 100 people will be allowed admittance. We have to do a first come, first serve admittance because of limited seating.
We just got the great news that both Ben Kennedy of the Second Circle, and Kate Hurley of the Third Circle will both be at Worship@8500 this year! So great.

Each night from 7-10pm we will enjoy a huge worship adventure together, and it will be so awesome to hear Kate and Ben help lead their featured songs from the Worship Circle albums.

Hey, everyone, we need to let you know we will close registration for the 3 day event, Worship@8500 on Friday night, midnight, June 18th. This will allow us to finalize our camper’s locations, buy the food, and prep the area for all our guests! We are so excited to see you soon.
Here is some great camping info: do you need to rent sleeping bags, or tents? REI in the Springs rents all kinds of camping gear: Tents, pads, stoves, etc. They just don’t rent out sleeping bags. For a 3 man tent it’s around $20 for members of REI from Friday to Sunday and $25 for non members. Each item is a different price but everything sounded super reasonable. Their phone number is (719) 260-1455. There is also a place that rents campers in the Springs. http://www.adventurecamper.com They have rates on their website the only thing is it looks like a 5 night minimum rental.
